Glenn doesn't share this often, but back in 1963, Glenn had a significant UFO experience. He doesn't recall being abducted, but according to his mom, who was with him at the time, said that there was a notable time loss. The UFO was big and hovered above without sound. Much like the UFO depicted in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. This experience is shared because now Glenn isn't sure where his interest in vampires came from. Could something from that UFO experience have changed him, or was it, as officially stated below, from watching Dark Shadows? We may never know.
Glenn grew up in Chicago glued to the TV watching Dark Shadows every summer afternoon. In that highly-rated vampire soap opera, Barnabas Collins first ignited Glenn's interest and passion for vampires.
More romantic and erotic vampire stories like Dracula and the many films by Hammer set his passion for vampire stories ablaze. That same passion still lives today in his many writings. His favorite story is "Blood Relations," where his vampire comes from another planet, is marooned on Earth, and is forever searching for love.
When Glenn isn't writing, he's shopping with his wife of 35 years or watching vampire-themed movies. He's most interested in the passion shown in these movies.
Glenn is a storm spotter, licensed private pilot, NAUI/PADI scuba diver, Space Camp alumni, an ordained minister with ULC, and licensed Ham radio operator.
Glenn wishes every writer much success and every reader much enjoyment.
